Think Computers writes:
"The Xilence brand is not known to many in the
U.S., but we have the opportunity to look at the Xilence Xilent Blade
Pro CPU cooler. This is just one of many cooling options that Xilence
has to offer which also includes fans, VGA coolers, other cooling
components and even cases and power supplies. The Xilent Blade Pro
offers multi-socket support for both AMD/Intel CPUs and has a quiet
vibration free fan for the ultimate cooling performance. The black/red
design gives is a sleek style and will give your case a kick of color.
Read on further to see how well it performs."

Seagate will be settling in the class-action suit which claims that the
hard drive maker misled customers with its definition of a gigabyte.
Hard drive makers say one gigabyte is 1,000,000,000 bytes, whereas all
operating systems define a gigabyte as 1,073,741,824 bytes, a 7%
difference. The suit claims that Seagate mislead customers into
believing that they would have, for instance 100 GB of storage when
they actually would have 93 GB of storage.
If you purchased at retail at Seagate-brand hard drive between
March 22, 2001 and September 26, 2007, you're eligible to file. You can
only receive cash if you bought it before January 1, 2006, otherwise,
you're stuck with a free backup software.

I was browsing around Digg today and found this intersting post about
the Top 10 gaming schools around the country via Education-Portal.com.
Apparently PSU is ranked second on the list. I would assume it would
have to be our great IST program.
More and more colleges and universities
across the United States are providing their students with blazing-fast
Internet connections, free media downloads, and the opportunity for
gamers to play interactive games and share their passion for the hobby.
Read below to learn about the best colleges for gamers and how
postsecondary institutions - and students - are changing their
relationship to gaming.
Top 10 Gaming Schools
The
Global Gaming League (GGL), an online research and specialty-interest
group, conducted a survey to determine which U.S. colleges and
universities offered their students the best gaming environment.
Ranking criteria included student population, tech-friendliness and the
quality of school-provided Internet connections. The best schools, as
reported by GGL, were:
- The University of Texas, Austin, Tex.
- Penn State University, State College, Penn.
- Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, New York
- The University of California, Los Angeles, LA, Calif.
- Digipen Institute of Technology, Redmond, Wash.
